A look at where the recruitment of the top uncommitted players in Pennsylvania stand

Five-star Micah Parsons, the uber athletic defensive end from Harrisburg (Pa.) High was a one-time Penn State commit but opened his recruitment and is looking at a lot of schools. Penn State, Ohio State, Nebraska, Georgia, Alabama and Miami are each on his list, which could expand.

Jahan Dotson left Hightstown (N.J.) Peddie and is back at Nazareth (Pa.) High, and his recruitment seems to be in a holding pattern. He has long held a top three of Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State, but there may be time for other schools to move back into it.

Kwantel Raines, a four-star safety from Aliquippa (Pa.) High, continues to look at West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Florida. There is a lot of chatter, though, he is focused most on Penn State and West Virginia.

TJ Banks, a defensive end and tight end from North Versailles (Pa.) East Allegheny, is trying to set up visits and has not trimmed his offer list. He said he will decide in either mid-September or Oct. 18. Syracuse, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Temple and Illinois are among his offers.

Pittsburgh Central Catholic defensive tackle David Green said he is announcing him commitment Aug. 24. His finalists are Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Temple, Rutgers and Minnesota.

Johnstown (Pa.) High Shamar Jones is looking hard at Indiana and Wake Forest, and he is trying to make a decision in the next few weeks. He does not have any visits set up, but he is looking at a visit to Wake Forest at end of August. He already made a trip to Indiana.
