The Advance Savings Credit Union in Moncton was the target of an armed robbery on Tuesday afternoon.
Sgt. Louis Robichaud with the Codiac RCMP says it was reported around 2:30 p.m.
A man wearing a motorcycle helmet came into the branch and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount.
Several uniformed and plainclothes officers were observed at 141 Weldon St., the Commercial Banking Centre where the credit union is located.
The Brunswick Credit Union Federation is also located at the Commercial Banking Centre.
More information, including surveillance photos of the suspect, is expected to be released in the coming days, according to Codiac RCMP.
