Baker College System’s business education programs are accredited through 2023 following a reaffirmation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education.
The college, a private, nonprofit, degree-granting higher educational institution with locations throughout Michigan, including Port Huron, is now accredited through July 31, 2023.
IACBE accreditation is an independent evaluation of educational business programs. The council is described as a leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation in business and management education, and has accredited more than 1,500 business and business-related programs worldwide.
“The IACBE self-study and site visits are tedious, challenging and rewarding, and ultimately substantiate the quality of Baker College’s business programs and offerings,” said Cleamon Moorer Jr., dean the school’s College of Business. “Receiving reaffirmation of accreditation is a strong testament to Baker College’s rigorous high-quality curriculum, successful learning outcomes and dedicated faculty and staff.”
Baker College is the largest independent college in the state, offering more than 150 career programs to nearly 28,000 students through roughly a dozen campuses and extension sites, as well as online career programs.
