Belgian military starts recruitment drive for cybersecurity experts

The Belgian defence ministry has started recruiting a large number of cybersecurity experts in order to beef up its ability to fight off internet attacks, reports De Tijd. Around 200 cybersecurity experts are planned to be hired, the defence minister confirmed. They will focus primarily on defending military targets, such as weapons systems and communications networks, while also providing support if other major systems in the country are threatened.
