Big Ten announces men’s basketball media day representatives

Thirty-five men’s basketball players are expected to attend Big Ten media day in mid-October, the conference announced Wednesday. The event will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Oct. 19.

The season starts less than a month later, with Big Ten play beginning Dec. 1. All 14 teams will then return to Madison Square Garden for the conference tournament Feb. 28-March 4.
