Buckeyes land in-state recruit — again

Justin Ahrens decommitted from Ohio State after the program parted ways with Thad Matta. Now he’s a Buckeye again.

Ahrens, a 3-star shooting guard in the Class of 2018, re-opened his recruitment when the program parted ways with Matta. He listed Ohio State, Michigan, Purdue, Xavier, Vanderbilt and Dayton in his top six, and even seemed to be leaning toward the Wolverines at one point.
