Savings Bank of Danbury applied for state approval to open loan offices in Greenwich and Stamford, while winning permission to open a new branch in Waterbury.
The new offices would represent the Danbury-based bank’s lone locations in lower Fairfield County, with Savings Bank of Danbury eyeing a loan office at 133 E. Putnam Ave. in the Cos Cob section of Greenwich, along with a Stamford location at 2777 Summer St.
The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Savings Bank of Danbury’s request to open a full-service branch at 2084 N. Main St. in Waterbury, which was previously a TD Branch with deposits totaling $86 million as of 2015.
