Danielle Lloyd fears her children could be victimised by trolls after she received thousands of vile messages.
Throughout her fourth pregnancy the 33-year-old has been targeted by cruel trolls – with one labelling her a “washed up whale”.
But now the mum-of-three is worried the trolls will turn on her children, as the scourge of people being deliberately cruel from behind the safety of a fake profile only seems to get worst.
Speaking to The ECHO, the former Miss England said: “There’s always going to be trolls around that will abuse you and say nasty things, but thankfully I’ve got a great support network around me.
“I don’t know how people have the time to set up these sites to abuse other people, it’s just really sad, they must have really sad lives.
“But what really worries me is the kids. Archie came home the other day saying one of his friends had twitter and I instantly said you’re not having one, but he wasn’t happy about that.
“I don’t want to upset him, but at seven there is no way he’s having that, it’s way too young. You never know who is out there.
“Archie especially is a very emotional child and he takes things literally, so if someone was to say something nasty, you just hear of other kids taking their own lives and other children don’t really understand the consequences – it needs to stop.
“Just because they’re behind a computer doesn’t mean the police can’t find out who you are.”
Danielle also said she was worried about the amount of people who impersonate celebrities and their children online – after Corrie star Kym Marsh revealed her children had fallen victim to the scam.
Danielle said: “It’s so weird, I don’t know where they find these people, who has the time to do that, I would never have the energy.
“It’s really immature, but you find sometimes it’s middle aged men, I just find it really sad.”
