The dancer and mentor was killed in a car crash on Thursday aged just 27

TRAGIC Diversity star Robert Anker dedicated his life to helping others after becoming a mentor.

Robert, 27, was killed in a car crash in Canada on Thursday and his social media posts show how he became a mentor to inspire others to make the most of their lives.

The final picture he uploaded was 10 days before his death on July 17 and showed him smiling into the camera with a monkey on his arm.

He captioned it: “Remember to take time to enjoy the #world

“From experience in #travel #business and #dance I’ve loved every minute of it.

“Setting new bars and new #goals”

Days before he posted a short video clip of him smiling and simply wrote with it: “Simply #smiling because I #love #life”

Always encouraging others to be aspirational, another go-getting post reads: “No one is going to do it for me so I must hustle myself.”

Robert who grew up in Essex and hit the big-time when Diversity won Britain’s Got Talent, he also performed alongside major popstars and appeared on The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing.

However he was always keen to remind his followers that success comes after hard work.

One sunny post said: “Thankful for the things that I’ve worked hard for in life. Nothing ever comes easy and if it does you don’t ever appreciate it enough.

“My best advice stay quiet while you hustle then enjoy the life you want.”

Another motivational post reads: “Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen but make it happen. Make your own Hope, Love, Beliefs. You are the writer of your own story.”

Robert had moved to Canada last year to live with his fiancée Cyndi.

Heartbreakingly, the couple had only married last September and were building a life together when the tragic accident occurred.

His cousin Rochelle Hanson has set up a Just Giving page to help pay for Rob’s funeral costs.

She said in the emotional post: “The family are devastated.

“He was an amazing and talented dancer.

“We are raising funds for his family to be able to cover all costs for their trip to go and arrange his funeral in Canada.

“We would love to ensure that his family don’t worry or stress about money at this time.”

After watching Diversity perform for the first time on Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda Holden said: “Just when I think I’ve seen it all, you came on.”

The group got three yeses from Amanda, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan – who called them “fantastic”.

During the semi-final, Simon told them “If I had to give marks on that, this would be the only performance tonight I would give a 10 to.”

On the big night, over 17 million tuned in to watch them win the show – with Susan Boyle coming second.
