2301GMT – UK data – GfK Consumer Confidence for August and there will also be the Lloyds business barometer, August

2350GMT – Japan – International Securities Flows for the week (ended August 25)

2350GMT – Japan – Industrial Production for July, the preliminary reading

  • expected -0.3% m/m, prior 2.2%
  • expected 5.2% y/y, prior 5.5%
  • I posted a preview here and I’ll sniff out if there are any more about soon

0100GMT – New Zealand – ANZ Activity Outlook and Business Confidence for August

0100GMT – China – official manufacturing and non-manufacturing PMIs for August

  • Manufacturing, expected 51.3, prior 51.4
  • Non-manufacturing prior 54.5
  • Early indicators for China for the month are mixed, post here from earlier this week
  • I’ll get a preview posted for this, to come

 0130GMT – Australia – Private Sector Credit for July

0130GMT – Australia – Capex data for Q2

Private Capital Expenditure

  • expected 0.2%, prior 0.3% (but there is more to this data release than just the headline change – I’ll get a preview up)

It would seem unlikely to have remarks relevant to the economic nor monetary policy outlook – but you never know!
