ENSF serves Sept 7 deadline to DoSE on recruitment issue

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 31 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) on Thursday expressed resentment over what it termed as “non-adherence to its notification No EDS (A)-5/2002, dated January 9, 2009” in connection to the recent advertisement for recruitment of 144 science & math teacher issued by the Department of School Education (DoSE).

In a representation issued to DoSE, the ENSF through its president, Sepili L Sangtam and general secretary, Imti Choba Chang said the concerned department has failed to deliver the “fundamental rights and justice to the Eastern Nagas.”

The Federation, however, did not give explanation on the reason for their resentment except for the vague mention of the non adherence to its notification of 2009. It only sought to know as to what kind of modality was applied for the recruitment of Advertisement No. NL/SE-1/2017, Dated 29 August, 2017.

“Any modalities for recruitment should be in adherence to the said “notification” so as to avoid any anomalies and irregularities in the process since the notification stills stays valid,” the representation maintained.

The Federation has therefore served the DoSE with a deadline till September 7, 2017 to fulfill their demands failing which it would seek justice through any means of agitation.
