It’s official. During the Penn State-Iowa telecast Saturday night, ESPN broadcasters Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit announced College GameDay will he headed to Blacksburg, Va., next week for when Virginia Tech faces Clemson.

This is the first time the college football show is headed to Blacksburg since 2007. College GameDay was on site when Virginia Tech opened the season against Tennessee in 2016, but that game was at Bristol Motor Speedway.
No. 13 Virginia Tech will host the No. 2 team in the country at 8 p.m. on Saturday. GameDay will be on ESPN at 9 a.m.
