GRAND ISLAND — A fall forum will bring together local experts from the public, private and academic sectors to report on the state of the Tri-City economy.
The Tri-City Area Economic Forum will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Bosselman’s Conference Center at Fonner Park in Grand Island. The forum represents a cooperative effort between the University of Nebraska at Kearney and local businesses to provide economic data to guide employers while boosting economic development.
Tim Hodges, Ph.D. of Gallup Education will give the keynote address. Bree Dority and Daniel Chaffin will give an economic overview of the Tri-City area. A panel including local entrepreneurs and educators will speak during the event.
By attending this event, real estate professionals can receive three hours of credit required for licensure. This training has been approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, and a certificate will be provided.
