The end of your military career doesn’t have to be the end of your service to the country.
That was the pitch the FBI laid out Wednesday during a special recruiting event in Portland.
The bureau is hoping to draw from former and active duty service personnel.
Jaime Rodriguez says she just moved to Portland after four years of active duty and four in the reserve.
She’s intrigued by the idea of a career at the FBI.
“It’s something different compared to what I’d normally do in my everyday. It’s something that you can challenge yourself with, especially if you’re into government work,” she said. “I feel like what they tell you here, once you learn it, you can definitely take it out into the field and of course apply it to your everyday life.”
You can apply to join the bureau anytime at fbijobs.gov.
