A new graduate-level program at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo is designed to give people with no formal business education the information they need to run a business effectively.
The graduate certificate in business is a one-year, three-semester program that will provide students with the skills needed to start their own businesses or move into management positions.
The program also will accommodate working professionals who want to pursue it part time.
Applications will open on Oct. 1 for the first intake of students in September 2018.

These vessels will come to Victoria for testing prior to being handed over to the federal government.
