The Hyderabad high court on Tuesday permitted the Telangana government to go ahead with recruitments to fill 546 posts in girls’ residential schools. The bench headed by Justice C V Nagarjuna Reddy gave this relief to the state while suspending the orders of a single judge who had stayed the process based on a writ petition by Narasimha Goud of Warangal, who had challenged the fact that all 546 notified posts were reserved for women candidates only. tnn
