MBOMBELA – CSG Hi-Tech Lowveld received two new Nissan vehicles from the Kiepersol Farming Block in Hazyview last week, after being awarded a new contract for rural protection.
According to Johnny Kerswill, managing director for CSG Hi-Tech Lowveld, the contract, which commences on the first of next month, will see them providing anti-poaching, counter-illegal mining, counter-cyber warfare and cooperative intelligence services.
“The grouping of these services has been formed due to the requirements, nationwide, for these specific operations,” said Kerswill.
“In order for Hi-Tech Special Services to execute the above-mentioned operations, we have deployed highly trained officers with specialised equipment.”
The focus and main effort of all these operations will be invested in intelligence programmes, such as Sitrap24 which analyses general factors like geographical terrain, infrastructure, criminal incidences and weather to determine various criminal tendencies.
