IIM Bangalore holds entrepreneurship meet

Bengaluru, August 6:  

IIM Bangalore held its entrepreneurship summit Eximius from August 4 to 6. The event was organised by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell (ENI) of IIM Bangalore in association with the NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) and Startup India, a government initiative.

The event saw startups, corporates and colleges coming together to discuss a range of topics around innovation, the event organisers said.

The theme for this year’s Eximius event was ‘Kickstart and Fly,’ urging everyone to imbibe the spirit of entrepreneurship, at a time when Indian businesses are making an effort to transition from low cost to IP-led providers.

“Eximius 2017 was attended by about three dozen eminent speakers, including CEOs of successful startups and MDs of leading VC firms in India,” said Ajinkya Domale, Secretary of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (ENI) Cell.

Eximius 2017 was powered by Drivezy which is the title sponsor and travel partner for the summit and BusinessLine on Campus (BLoC) is the online business school knowledge partner.

The speakers included K Radharishnan, former Chairman, ISRO, Rajesh Magow, co-founder and CEO, MakeMyTrip, Radhika Agarwal, co-founder and Chief Business Officer of ShopClues, Peyush Bansal, CEO and founder of Lenskart, Jitendra Gupta, founder and CEO of Citrus Pay, Bhavik Vasa of ItzCash and Venture Capitalists such as Vikram Vaidyanathan, MD, Matrix Partners and Rajesh Raiu, MD of Kalaari Capital.
