Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Mohamed Salah’s level of fitness in the club’s pre-season win over Crystal Palace.
Salah gave Reds fans a glimpse of what’s to come this season with a promising performance during the 2-0 win over Palace in the Asia Trophy in Hong Kong.
Fellow new signing Dominic Solanke grabbed his first goal for the club since joining from Premier League rivals Chelsea, while Divock Origi also got his name on the scoresheet in a comfortable win for the Reds.

However, Klopp was most impressed with the performance of Salah, who recently joined Liverpool in a £39million deal from Roma.
‘He would still be running if we didn’t get him off the pitch,’ said Klopp.
‘It was good. It’s nice for everybody to see him on the pitch with his speed, but not only with his speed, with his football skills.
‘I don’t like to talk too much about a single player. I understand that you ask about it completely, but we played very well as a team today and Mo is a quick player.

‘Dom is another good player but there are others around that made us really happy.
‘You cannot win against Crystal Palace even in a pre-season game if you’re not playing a good game. And we did this, so it’s fine.’
Klopp’s squad took to the running track on Thursday to work on their fitness ahead of the Asia Trophy final.
The Reds face Premier League rivals Leicester in the showpiece event on Saturday, while Palace will take on West Brom in a third-place play-off.
