Kevin Nolan says Notts County recruitment drive is not over yet

Kevin Nolan believes Notts County are doing “good business” this summer but still hopes to add more signings to his squad.

The Magpies boss signed midfielder Liam Walker and defender Shaun Brisley this week and is hoping to land Nottingham Forest defender Alex Iacovitti too.

The Magpies have recruited six players in total this summer as they look to build a strong team for the new campaign.

And while Nolan is happy with the work Notts have done so far, he says he is not finished yet with a striker thought to be among the priority targets.

“It’s exciting times,” said Nolan.

“People are getting their settled squads and players are being allowed to leave which has a rippling effect from the top to the bottom.

“Unfortunately we are the ones who had to wait a bit longer, but we are hoping to get a couple more over the line.

“We are doing good business. We are getting people in who want to come here and want to do well. We are delighted with that.”
