Reno police arrested a man who faces several sexual assault-related charges after allegedly seeking out girls on social media.
Joseph Martinez, 28, was arrested Friday and faces six counts of sexual assault of a minor, one count of lewdness with a minor and one count of statutory sexual seduction.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation into a runaway case in Sparks, according to the Reno Police Department.

An officer with the Sparks Police Department was following up on the runaway case the night before. He eventually found Martinez at his downtown home, along with a female runaway.
Because Martinez was on probation, officers from the Nevada Department of Parole and Probation also responded.
Detectives from the Reno Police Department’s Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit also began investigating Martinez.
Two girls were taken to the Washoe County Child Advocacy Center for questioning. Authorities said they believe there could be more victims.
Police were still investigating the case. Further details on arrest were unknown Saturday.
