Sioux Falls-based MSH Architects announced this week the facility was selected for publication in the American School and University magazine’s 2017 Educational Interiors Showcase. The showcase is an annual competition honoring education interiors and facility planning, spotlighting facilities across the nation.
The 65,000-square-foot space was among 70 projects chosen for publication within 18 different categories. The competition is in its 27th year, and this is the first time a South Dakota architect firm has earned the honor.
The project was selected based on criteria including how successful the facility’s design addresses the project vision, how the project enhanced learning environment, timelessness of design and functionality of the space.
