Nara Lokesh invites entrepreneurs to invest in Andhra Pradesh

This was the fifth edition of the EOTY awards and the nominations were received only through the EO website.
Inviting entrepreneurs here to invest in Andhra Pradesh, he said majority of the population in the country was young and aspiring and this helps develop products and technologies that can be taken to the farmers and the needy.

Presenting the Entrepreneur of the Year (EOTY) awards at an event organised by the Entrepreneur’s Organisation (EO) here on Wednesday, he said that the Andhra Pradesh government has invested ? 400 crore to take fibre network connection to individual households.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh acts as a catalyst to promote entrepreneurship in the State, said its Minister for IT, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Development, Nara Lokesh.

Presenting the Entrepreneur of the Year (EOTY) awards at an event organised by the Entrepreneur’s Organisation (EO) here on Wednesday, he said that the Andhra Pradesh government has invested ? 400 crore to take fibre network connection to individual households. It has done so for one lakh households and plans to expand this to one million connections by the end of this year. This will create an ecosystem for entrepreneurship.

Inviting entrepreneurs here to invest in Andhra Pradesh, he said majority of the population in the country was young and aspiring and this helps develop products and technologies that can be taken to the farmers and the needy.

Different States have different levels of challenges , As Reported By Hindu.

According to the Newspaper,The government has to be a catalyst. India is not an easy market as the competition is quick and there is no level-playing field. However, entrepreneurs need to look at every crisis as an opportunity.
