Writing in her New! Magazine column, Olivia wrote: “I really respected her for not having sex on TV.
“I also think it’s good she waited because – excuse the pun – she’s put to bed any rumours that her feeling for him were fake.”
Olivia also revealed that she wished the pair came third on the show and not fourth as she “loved following their relationship.”
Olivia’s comments come as Gabby opened up about finally being able to have sex with Marcel.
The Love Island finalist – who lost out to Olivia and Chris and Kem and Amber to come fourth in the hit series – spoke openly about the Blazin’ Squad star’s bedroom skills, calling them “explosive.”
Speaking to the Daily Star, the 25 year old revealed that their first bout of love-making took place after the ITV2 show’s wrap party.

She said: “It was X-rated and explosive – we just got a bit excited… I’ve had good sex in my life, but Marcel has stamina.”
Marcel took things even further and added even more details about their tryst.
“You’d expect me to be really fast because I’ve been waiting so long but no, I’ve got skills and technique.”
He added: “I’m quite a strong person and she’s very light so there was a lot of throwing around.
“The bed was small and squeaky so I had to pull the mattress off onto the floor.”
Gabby concluded that is was well “worth the wait,” after promising herself she wasn’t going to have sex in the house and on TV.
