However, FCS Software, Bhagyanagar Properties, Nitin Fire Prot, GTPL Hathway, Inox Wind, Artemis Global Life Sciences, REI Agro, Rasoya Proteins and LCC Infotech were among the 14 stocks that touched their fresh 52-week low.
Domestic equity markets pared gains a bit on account of selling in pharma, IT and FMCG stocks. Initially, Nifty50 and Sensex hit their all-time high at 10,011.30 and 32374.30, respectively.
Benchmark Nifty50 index was 8 points up at 9,974, while the 30-share Sensex was 18 points up at 32,263 around 10.30 am (IST).
Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 2.45 per cent) were topping the Nifty50 chart after the mortgage lender on Monday posted a 25 per cent rise in the June quarter net at Rs 788.2 crore, supported by higher loan growth, reduction in the cost of funds and the cost-to-income ratio.
Zee Entertainment (down 1.48 per cent) was the top loser in the index.
In the Nifty50 pack, 21 stocks were trading in green, while 30 stocks were in red.
On BSE, 965 stocks were advancing whereas 1,028 stocks were lagging.
Traders were seen piling up position in Infrastructure, Cement, Cables, Construction and Tyres, while selling were visible in Aquaculture, Glass, Packaging, Petrochemicals and Consumer Durables sectors.
