Planters Bank, DSPD to host training session on counterfeit currency

A local bank and the police department have joined together and will host a special training session on how to recognize counterfeit currency.

Local business owners, managers and employees are invited.

The training is at noon Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Redemption City. Lunch is provided.

Twenty ultraviolet lights will be given away at the session.

Guests will learn three simple ways to detect counterfeit currency.
