The Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) announced this week that a new project that will bring the nation’s largest wind energy facility to Oklahoma.
The facility is under construction near Guymon in the Oklahoma panhandle. PSO will own the wind farm, as well as a 350-mile tie-in line that runs from the panhandle to Tulsa.
In a news release, the company claims the project “is expected to provide net savings to PSO customers more than $2 billion over the life of the project.”
