SBI SO recruitment 2017: State Bank of India has released a notification for the recruitment and provided the link to the online application form on the official career portal of the bank – bank.sbi/careers or sbi.co.in/careers – on Friday.

SBI SO recruitment 2017: The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for the recruitment of specialist cadre officers. It has released a notification for the recruitment and provided the link to the online application form on the official career portal of the bank – bank.sbi/careers or sbi.co.in/careers – on Friday. According to the notification, the recruitment test will be conducted online for two posts under the specialist cadre. These include deputy manager (law) and deputy general manager (law). For which, the online registration of application will be open between September 15 and October 6, 2017. Applicants are required to pay the fee within this period of time. SBI has also issued a tentative date of the examination and to download the call letter. Here are all the details to apply online for the SBI recruitment:

Total number of vacancies:

Deputy Manager (law): There are 40 vacancies for the post, which include 21 for General category of candidates, 6 for Scheduled Caste, 3 for Scheduled Tribe and 10 for Other Backward Classes.
Deputy General Manager (law): There is 1 vacancy for the post.

Important dates:

Registration and application process starts on September 15, 2017
Last date to submit online applications is October 6, 2017
Tentative date of downloading call letter for online test for the post of Deputy Manager (law) is October 25, 2017
Tentative date of online test for the post of Deputy Manager (law) is November 11, 2017
Last date to submit hard copies of applications for the post of Deputy General Manager (law) is October 10, 2017

Eligibility:

Deputy manager (law)
– Candidates should be at least 25 years old and no older than 35
– Candidates should have a graduate’s degree in law or should have passed in a 5-year integrated law course
– Candidates should be enrolled with the Bar Council and have at least 4 years of experience as a law officer in financial institutions

Deputy general manager (law)
– Candidates should be at least 35 years old and no older than 45;
– Candidates should have a graduate’s degree in law or should have passed in a 5-year integrated law course
– Candidates should be enrolled with the Bar Council and have at least 15 years of experience as a law officer in financial institutions
