A social media threat from a student failed to disrupt classes at West Shore School District’s Red Land High School Monday morning.
District officials and Fairview Township police were alerted to the post Sunday by students and parents, Superintendent Todd B. Stoltz said in a message posted on the district’s web site.
Investigators identified the poster, a Red Land student, early Monday and police investigated. “As a result, the district determined it safe for classes to be held as scheduled at Red Land,” Stoltz said.
He did not describe the nature of the threat.
