White House adviser Steve Bannon is leaving the White House, inspiring strong reactions on social media.

Bannon, the former executive of Breitbart News, has long been a controversial Trump figure, first on the campaign and then as chief strategist at the White House. 

As news of Bannon’s departure spread, many on social media said that his ousting was not enough.
