Terre Haute Savings Bank announced today it has filed an application with banking regulatory agencies to open a branch in West Terre Haute at 1010 West National Avenue.
THSB hopes to open the branch later this fall.
“The business model for community banks allows us to invest in communities that larger banks may not see as viable. That fits perfectly with THSB’s focus on its role as a local community bank,” Bart Colwell, president of THSB, said in a news release.
Terre Haute Savings Bank began serving the Wabash Valley in 1869. It provides banking, trust and financial services to west-central Indiana and east-central Illinois. This will be THSB’s eighth location.
