WARNING, DISTURBING CONTENT: A woman has been caught biting her small dog on the face and yanking its leash on a public train in a horrific case of animal cruelty.
A commuter on the Toronto subway in Canada uploaded a three-minute video of the ordeal to YouTube, including the moment a fellow passenger intervened.
“You gotta stop hitting your dog,” the subway rider tells her.
The confronting footage shows the woman repeatedly biting the tiny dog as it whimpers and tries to escape.
She yanks it back on the leash a number of times and it eventually retreats under the train seat.
After being approached by the commuter, the woman becomes defensive and asks him what “the f*** he’s talking about.”
Another passenger then tells to a Toronto Transit worker the woman “keeps biting its tail”.
“The whole train stopped, more than 3 [transit] staff walked to her and then she got off the train,” the commuter who filmed the ordeal wrote on Youtube.
“Someone like her should never own a dog or a pet.”
It is unknown if the woman was prosecuted over the treatment of the animal.
