However, not everyone was positive about their reunion, with Chloe Sims hinting the pair were only rekindling their ‘toxic’ romance was for a TOWIE storyline.
And, in an exclusive interview with OK! Magazine, the pair have responded to the mum of one’s comments – branding her “nasty”.
“She doesn’t know us. If people are your true friends on the show or not, they will never say nasty things like that,” the brunette beauty explained.
“I didn’t realise she’d said that,” her man continued. “That’s a bit of a nasty thing to say because she knows how hurt I was and how bad I felt at the time.”
ITVBe viewers were left heartbroken after the couple called time on their relationship, in emotional scenes which aired earlier this year.
They hit a rough patch last November, after it emerged the tattooed hunk had been sending ex Jacqui Ryland explicit messages, behind his girlfriend’s back.

However, following a brief split and a string of explosive rows, the pair soon reunited.
And, speaking about their reconciliation for the first time, the lovebirds revealed they are stronger than ever.
“We went to Vegas for a secret getaway, which wasn’t secret after we got pictured on the first day,” Megan said.
“We wanted to go away without anyone’s opinions and just enjoy ourselves. When we were there, I think that was the point when we realised it was going to work properly because we had such a good time.”
Discussing the time they spent apart, Pete continued: “We had a good break apart. Although we saw each other on nights out, it was just trying our best to be civil.
“But since getting back together it’s been like a new relationship. It’s the beginning.”
“We never thought we’d get back together but now we’re stronger than ever,” Megan added.
“I feel like if it was going to work, we needed that proper break. We couldn’t be having that rubbish where you start seeing each other again after a few days.”
