www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in Admit Card News: For yet to be announced written test dates of NAVIK (GENERAL DUTY) 10+2 ENTRY – 01/2018 BATCH, nearly a week is left in issuing the admit cards. Till today, 4 September 2017, online application forms can be filled. Regarding the written test, examination authorities have confirmed that ‘The conduct of test is planned during Sep/Oct 2017’. Still no clue about exact date and timings. Perhaps, like other Recruitment Exams, date, time and address may be mentioned in Admit Cards itself. It covers almost all states of the nation; an exam will be held at 19 examination centres. Recruitment being a 10+2 entry, questions from Maths, Physics, basic Chemistry, knowledge of English will be asked of 12th standard thus. Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, current affairs and general knowledge will also be included in written exam syllabus and pattern.

Examination Centres have already been unveiled on the date of releasing of the brochure. For northern zone, the written exam will be held in Karnal, Dehradun, Jodhpur, Noida, Varanasi. For North-East Zone it is Guwahati, Paradip, Haldia, Kolkata. For East Zone, it is Mandapam, Chennai, Secunderabad, Vishakapatnam. Bhopal, Kochi, Mumbai, New Mangalore for West Zone. Gandhi Nagar for North West Zone and Port Blair for A&N Zone.
For shortlisted candidates of written test, Initial Medical Examination (Preliminary) and PFT [physical fitness test] will be regulated for 2-3 days.
Those who will be able to do ten push ups, 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak), 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes according to the norm on an Official Website, will be called for IME. Centres of Initial Recruitment Medical Examination for volunteers will be the choice of ICG recruitment authorities.
While the applicants to be called for final medical at INS Chilka will be decided based upon the cut off marks including scores of all the three tests. The ratio of Merit candidates to the number of vacancies will also be kept in mind.
Either in last month of this year or the first month of a subsequent year, zone wise final selection list or Indian Navy Coast Guard Navik General Duty (10+2) Recruitment results will be announced. Controller and examination board has also asked to appear at written test centres with following documents on Exam Date.
- Ten recent colour passport size photographs with a Blue background.
- Identity proof such as school/college ID card, Pan card, Aadhar Card/Voter ID card, driving license, passport (any one of them) or any other ID proof.
- If in reserve, then to carry caste/category certificate (SC/ST & OBC).
- 10th and 12th class mark sheets.
- Three copies of pre-filled online e-admit card with the freshest photograph appended.
