The Dispatch is now working with ZipRecruiter to provide greater impact for businesses advertising to hire employees.
ZipRecruiter, a rapidly growing online employment marketplace, and GateHouse Media, the parent company of The Dispatch, have announced a partnership that makes ZipRecruiter the exclusive recruitment advertising partner for all GateHouse Media publications. The partnership, in 550 markets across the U.S., will power GateHouse online and print recruitment pages that reach over 21 million readers every week.
GateHouse is one of the largest publishers in the United States, with more than 125 daily newspapers, more than 300 weekly newspapers and 555 websites.
To kick off the partnership, GateHouse and ZipRecruiter will offer more than $20,000 in free recruitment packages in a “Build Your Team” giveaway. Businesses can enter the sweepstakes at www.dispatch.com/contests.
Businesses in central Ohio and around the country will be able to leverage ZipRecruiter’s candidate-matching algorithm, which delivers quality candidates to 80 percent of job ads posted to ZipRecruiter within the first 24 hours, and an email job-alert program, while maintaining their relationship with GateHouse newspapers and their local account manager.
Job seekers in central Ohio will be able to easily search for and apply for jobs through The Dispatch — in print and online. Jobs posted through The Dispatch also will be available for job seekers to search and apply to in ZipRecruiter’s mobile apps.
