Kensington Mortgages has appointed two business development managers (BDMs) as part of its continued commitment to maintaining strong regional broker support across the UK specialist mortgage market.
Gemma Davies (pictured, left) has joined as BDM for Kensington’s Central West region, covering most of Wales, Shrewsbury, Birmingham and as far east as Coventry.
Paul Dodimead (pictured, right) has joined as BDM for the East region, covering Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester and as far south as Romford.
Dodimead replaces James Burwood, who was recently promoted internally to national account manager.
Both Davies and Dodimead will report to Phillip Pinson, regional sales manager – North.
Davies brings more than 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, having worked across banking, estate agencies and brokerage before moving into business development.
She joins Kensington from Melton Building Society, where she progressed into a BDM role during her time at the lender.
Dodimead joins Kensington with more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, including senior BDM positions at Scottish Widows, Halifax and Coventry Building Society.
Davies said: “Joining Kensington is an exciting opportunity and I’m looking forward to being part of such a well-established and supportive team.
“Building strong relationships with brokers has always been a key focus for me and I’m passionate about helping them find the right solutions for their customers.”
Dodimead added: “Kensington has built a strong reputation as an innovative specialist lender and I’m delighted to be joining the business.
“I’m looking forward to supporting brokers across the East region and helping them navigate the specialist mortgage market with confidence.”
Jane Atkins, head of intermediary sales at Kensington Mortgages, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gemma and Paul to Kensington.
“They both bring a wealth of experience from across the mortgage and financial services sector, alongside a strong understanding of the needs of brokers and their customers.
“Our field sales team plays a vital role in supporting intermediaries across the UK and these appointments further strengthen our ability to deliver expert guidance, education and relationship-led support in key regions.”
