Molly-Mae Hague could be leaving multi-million pound mansion after just two years
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are considering leaving their luxury Manchester mansion just two years after spending millions of pounds on it.
The influencer, 24, first shot to fame alongside fiance Tommy, 24, since they met and fell in love on the 2019 series of Love Island.
Five years later the pair are engaged and share baby daughter Bambi, one, and their careers in showbiz and sport have continued to skyrocket.
Often seen on private jets, on lavish holidays and updating fans from their sprawling mansion, Molly has now confirmed they are planning to leave their luxurious home despite having spent £4,000,000 on the sale and another huge amount refurbishing it.
The couple moved into their multi-million pound Cheshire home — which features six bedrooms, a gym and massive garden — jus two years ago.
But in a recent Instagram Q&A, Molly confirmed they are considering a move to pastures anew.
Responding to a fan question which asked ‘is moving house on the cards?’ Molly responded: ‘One word… potentially.’
Molly didn’t offer any details or what has made them ‘potentially’ consider a move from the place they’ve called home since before their daughter was born.
The couple moved to the mansion in March 2022 after a devastating burglary at their Manchester apartment earlier in the year.
A gang broke in and made off with £800k worth of designer goods while the pair were at a party in London, leading them to hire extra security.
Molly revealed at the time that their dream home was ready to move in so wouldn’t need any major renovations, but they were planning on making some ‘tweaks’.
By tweaks, she meant building a personal home gym and knocking walls to create ensuites in the bedrooms, turning one bedroom into a personal dressing room, and creating a separate filming room on the top floor to store camera equipment and make her popular vlogs.
She also revealed in a vlog that she was ‘working with an interior designer’ to shape her dream home ‘completely from scratch,’ buying all new furniture and making the place their own.
This included a full-length mirror costing a whopping £8,000, which she said was ‘finally’ hers after previous places they had lived in always proved unsuitable as it had ‘never fitted through any of the stairwells [or] doors’.
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing in the luxury home however, as the property suffered multiple leaks just months after moving in.
Molly had shared a video of the chaos caused by the first leak, telling her followers at the time: ‘You know what I said about teething issues… just a minor one today, ceiling’s coming down.’
She added: ‘Honestly, I just heard a load of dripping noises, walked into our formal living room area and ceiling’s coming down.
‘The roof is saturated, the ceiling of the living room is saturated, the carpet is saturated. So, that’s nice.
‘To be fair, I think we’re only having a few issues because obviously we’re ripping rooms out, pipes are being knocked, water systems are being messed around with, so I’ll keep you updated.’
Just a few weeks later, she revealed another leak had affected the property, telling followers ‘have to laugh or you might cry’.
