Officials responding to officer-involved shooting at Dollar General in Perkinston

PERKINSTON, Miss. (WLOX) – At least one deputy is injured following an officer-involved shooting at Dollar General.

According to officials, the shooting took place at Dollar General on U.S. 49 in Perkinston. The suspect is currently barricaded inside, and multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene.

Other injuries are unknown at this time.
