Radford: Live updates as bodies removed from property, forensics investigate

A fourth neighbour who did not want to give their name, described seeing police at the house as “shocking and very sad”.

She said she was aware a mother and daughter had been living at the property but did not know them well enough to speak to.

A third neighbour, who also asked to remain anonymous, said she was struggling to find the words to describe her feelings:

“It’s very sad, I’m at a loss for words. I’ve tried finding out online what exactly happened but couldn’t find anything. It’s so sad”

Another neighbour said she saw police in the road when she returned home earlier:

“I don’t know who lived there but if it was a mother and her daughter, it’s really sad.

“I came home from work and went to the corner shop on Hartley Road at about 2pm and saw the police there”

Another photo from the scene shows a police vehicle at the rear of the house on Hartley Road. The front also remains sealed off tonight

The woman added: “It’s just a normal residential street. A mother and her daughter lived there.”

She said the woman appeared to be in her 40s and the daughter was a teenager or around “20 at the most”.
