The ELLE brand unveils its first property project – English

ELLE, the fashion and lifestyle media brand, is preparing to launch its very first residence in Miami’s Edgewater district: ELLE Residences Miami.
After inaugurating Maison ELLE hotels in Paris and Amsterdam, marking its successful foray into hospitality, ELLE is determined to continue its expansion. ELLE Residences Miami embodies the essence of ELLE magazine, founded in France in 1945, bringing chic, avant-garde style to one of Miami’s most sought-after destinations.
This ambitious project is being built in partnership with Vertical Developments and Urban Network Capital Group (UNCG), under a licensing agreement with Lagardère Média News. The 25-storey tower will comprise 180 flats, designed by The One Atelier to reflect the bold and inspiring design of ELLE DECORATION.
The residences, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms and including penthouses, will offer floor areas from 41 to 78m² and will be available from 525,000 dollars. The interiors will be delivered on a turnkey basis, combining top-of-the-range service with hotel-style amenities. A short-term rental management service will also be offered.
Residents will enjoy two floors of wellness facilities, including a high-tech gym, outdoor fitness lawn, spa with hammam, sauna, cold pool and meditation garden. Communal areas will include a gourmet summer kitchen, a brazier, an open-air cinema, a Côte d’Azur-inspired terrace with pool and private cabanas, as well as a panoramic pool and residents-only lounge bar at the top of the tower. The architecture of the complex, designed by Behar & Partners, will be distinguished by its sleek, graphic façade.
ELLE Residences Miami represents a new stage in the diversification of the ELLE brand, which reaches some 250 million people worldwide every month via its magazines, digital platforms and collections of products and services.
“ELLE brand’s success to date has been thanks to our innovations and we are proud to continue to challenge the status quo, as ELLE enters into a new era with residences. We are thrilled to launch ELLE into the world of real estate development with experienced and renowned partners such as Vertical Developments and Urban Network Capital Group. This new concept of ELLE Residences will present exciting gateways that will allow owners and residents to see the apartment buildings through a new lens and through ELLE’s vision” – Constance Benqué, CEO of ELLE International and Lagardère News
“This groundbreaking residential project will debut a new legacy for ELLE, one of which we are proud to share in the next chapter of this influential brand. Our aspiration is not just to build a tower but create an ownership experience that amplifies modernity with the timeless sophistication of ELLE’s nearly 80-year history.” – Fernando de Nuñez y Lugones, CEO of Vertical Developments
“Combining the city’s distinctive cultural diversity and dynamism with the brand’s eclectic, spirited ethos and contemporary, Parisian allure, ELLE Residences will truly be one of a kind. We are devoted to bringing entirely new and fresh products to every market we set our sights on, and as ELLE’s very first residential development, we are thrilled to introduce this concept not only to Miami but to the world.” – Robert Thorne, CEO of Urban Network Capital Group
The History and Evolution of the ELLE Brand
Founded in 1945 by Hélène Lazareff, ELLE magazine was a pioneer in focusing on trends in fashion, beauty, decoration, culture and travel, as well as tackling societal issues for women. Today, ELLE is a global brand, known for its lifestyle approach. Over the past thirty years, ELLE has diversified into five universes: women’s, children’s, men’s, home decoration and experiences, with over 3,000 points of sale in more than 80 countries.
‘ELLE Hospitalité was the next logical step in a process that began a few years ago with the creation of ELLE Cafés, ELLE spas and ELLE salons. So it made perfect sense for us to create ELLE Hospitalité. However, we needed to find partners who wanted to take up the challenge and who were specialists in the sector. These partners also helped us build the offer, work on the concept and translate the brand’s values into the hotel product.’ – Anne Billaz, CEO, Lagardère Active Enterprises at the Hospitality Asset Forum 2022
