Kmfm listener Luca Britton kicks off weekend with Thousand Pound Friday win

A kmfm listener will be heading into the weekend with a £1,000 cash prize.

The Kent radio station’s monthly competition ‘Thousand Pound Friday’ sees listeners enter via text and online to win the prize.

Entries start at 6pm on Thursday and 24-hours later one Kent person is chosen at random.

Luca Britton from Deal was the lucky listener to receive a call from kmfm Drivetime presenter Numi at 6pm this evening, to found out they were the winner for April.

Luca is a trainee electrician, and heard the competition on his morning commute to London and said he meant to enter then.

It was when he got back in his car at 5pm this evening and heard the competition again when he entered.

Luca and his wife are expecting a baby in August and plan to spend his prize money on his new addition.

Plus his car needs fixing and will spend some of the money on repairs too.
