Senior Finance and IT Officer

 

Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 28 hours)
Permanent Position

 

Salary on a scale PA22-25 (Grade 7) £39,157-£42,772 pro rata (including island allowance). In addition to the salary and allowances the Association operates a contributory occupational pension scheme.

We require a Senior Finance & IT Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance Team. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Association and will ensure the IT systems are kept up to date and are appropriate for business requirements. As Depute to the Head of Finance and Corporate Services a key part of the post is responsibility for preparing draft statutory accounts, monthly management accounts and financial information to comply with the Associations deadlines.

The ideal applicant will have experience in accounts preparation, liaising with external auditors, VAT reporting, budgetary control and management of IT Systems.

It is essential to have a high level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft compatible systems and their application, an analytical approach to problem solving, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work to strict deadlines. You should hold an Accountancy qualification to AAT Level 3 Diploma/HNC or equivalent.
