Minor Hotels has confirmed plans to open its first Colbert Collection property in the UK, the WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Situated in the centre of the city, the new hotel will be housed in a building currently undergoing conversion from its previous use as a NatWest bank and office space.

The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection will provide 50 rooms and suites across six floors, along with a restaurant and bar.

Colbert Collection is Minor Hotels’ new premium soft brand, expanding its portfolio with independent hotels aimed at guests interested in culinary experiences and social interaction.

This London launch marks Minor Hotels’ initial presence in a major gateway city and forms part of a strategic plan to strengthen its market position in the UK capital.

The site holds Grade II listed status and was designed by architect William Curtis Green in the early 1920s.

The hotel’s location places it within convenient reach of Buckingham Palace and shopping and leisure destinations such as Piccadilly Circus, Knightsbridge and the West End theatre district.

Royal Group of Companies Singapore owns the building. The group has operated in hotel and property development for more than seven decades, mainly in Asia and the Pacific regions.

The London project is the company’s first European hotel venture.

Minor International group CEO and Minor Hotels CEO Dillip Rajakarier said: “We are delighted to be working with Royal Group of Companies Singapore to bring Colbert Collection to London and are confident this new property will represent a highly attractive offering for visitors to the city.”

Earlier this month, Minor Hotels’ Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas joined The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) independent luxury hotel collection.
