FTSE 100 Live: UK Stocks Set to Fall While Pound (GBP USD) Tests $1.30

The FTSE 100’s losses are all the more notable today as they come amid a pretty decent period of global stocks.

US stocks enjoyed a fine day yesterday, climbing for an eight day and rallying hard into the close. Meanwhile MSCI’s all-country stock index is headed for a ninth day of increases — the longest run of gains since December.

We’ve talked a bit about how the FTSE 100 drew some benefit amid the market jitters we saw earlier this month. The same seems to be in reverse now sentiment is improving.
