A 68-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing criminal property, though has since been bailed to allow for further enquiries. A 41-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of dealing and possessing class A drugs remains in custody as enquiries continue.

According to the police, items seized in the raids include suspected class A and class B illegal drugs, as well as criminal property plus large sums of cash, electronic devices, fireworks and what are suspected to be fake cosmetic products.

Said PSNI Sergeant Armour said: “We will continue to proactively investigate and carry out searches linked to the drugs trade to identify those involved.

“However, we also rely upon information from the public whose support is crucial in helping us to tackle the scourge of drugs. With the help of the public, we can focus our efforts on identifying those who make their living by bringing drugs to our streets.”

Anyone with any information is asked to speak to police by calling non-emergency phone number 101, or submitting a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport. The public can also contact charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org

All of the items recovered from today’s searches are to undergo forensic examination to determine their exact make-up.
