Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the major averages fell Thursday, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Morning data Housing starts will come out at 8:30 a.m. ET on ” Squawk Box .” The FactSet consensus estimate is for 1.31 million. That’s an uptick of 11.3%. Hovnanian is up 7% this week. The stock is off 16% from the September high. Toll Brothers is up 4.2% this week. The stock is down 7% from the February high. PulteGroup and NVR are up 3.4% this week. Pulte is off 10% from the February high, and NVR is down 22% from the September high. KB Home is up 2.7% this week, but shares are down 16% from the September high. HOV 5D mountain Hovnanian shares in the past five trading days Travelers reports in the morning Earnings for the insurance company are due Friday. Results will be on “Squawk Box.” The team will have the results and market reaction. The stock is up 13% in three months. Travelers hit a high last week; shares are down 3.3% from that level. Regional banks report on ‘Squawk Box’ Fifth Third is up about 20% in three months. The stock hit a new high on Thursday. Regions Financial is up 16% in three months. Shares hit a new high Thursday. Truist Financial is up almost 8% in three months. The stock is down 5% from the February high. The State Street SPDR S & P Regional Banking ETF (KRE) also hit a new high in the session. It is up 13% in three months. KRE 3M mountain State Street SPDR S & P Regional Banking ETF (KRE) in three months Netflix The “Fast Money” traders think volume on Netflix will surge Friday after Thursday afternoon’s earnings report. Second-quarter revenue and earnings were roughly in line with analyst estimates. Shares are down 8% after hours. Counting the after-hours slide, Netflix is down 45% in a year. At one point in June 2025, shares traded as high as $134.12. In extended trading on Thursday night, they’re at about $68 a share.
