A corporate finance team has strengthened its growing operation with a new appointment.

Clive Owen, which has an office in York, has welcomed Paul Williams as corporate finance executive.

The 23-year-old joins from a Big Four accountancy firm and is a Newcastle University graduate.

He completed the Flying Start degree programme, which combines academic study with professional experience.

Mr Williams said: “I am delighted to have joined Clive Owen at such an exciting time for the firm and corporate finance team.

“The opportunity to work closely with ambitious business owners, supporting them through every stage of their business journey, was a major draw.”

The accountancy firm also has offices in Darlington, Durham, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.

It is currently investing in expansion and has recently moved to larger premises in Newcastle and Darlington.

Established in 1983, Clive Owen now employs more than 150 staff across its five locations.
