Outgoing Brewin Dolphin investment manager John Moore
Quilter Cheviot has hired former Brewin Dolphin investment manager John Moore as an investment manager in its Edinburgh office.
Mr Moore will aim to strengthen the firm’s investment capability in Scotland and its support for advisers and high net worth clients across the region. He will report to Richard Taylor, head of the Edinburgh office at Quilter Cheviot.
Mr Moore has joined Quilter Cheviot following a career spanning more than three decades in discretionary investment management.
He most recently served as divisional director at RBC Brewin Dolphin where he worked with independent financial advisers and high net worth clients.
Mr Taylor said: “Bringing someone of John’s calibre and reputation is a real coup for us, and we are excited to see what he can achieve here.
“He brings exceptional depth of investment experience and a strong understanding of the needs of advisers and high-net-worth clients, built over an extensive career in our industry.”
