Old dog left at pound is ready for new adventures at a steady pace
His face might be grey but his hinges still work and at 13 Gizmo is looking for a new start.
With 96 human years notched up on his collar, the Corgi mix is in search of a forever family after his original surrendered him to a dog pound aged 12.
His rescue team at Animal Connexions, said: “Gizmo is a sweet little man, who found himself surrendered to the pound when he was 84 years old in human years – and now he is 96.

“He is a super dog, full of love and very expressive. He is currently in foster with another dog, but loves all the attention for himself.
“If you could offer Gizmo a retirement home he will be happy to potter around the garden but like many old fellas, he’s nosy and likes a gossip with the neighbours, so a he needs a secure garden where he can stay safe.
“At 13 he is doing well. He loves little walks, cuddles on the sofa and the all important belly rubs. As he loves attention to himself, he would be best suited as an only dog in his home.”
