Irish-founded Hometree secures multimillion pound debt facility

Company led by Simon Phelan also makes first acquisitions under new facility, buying up two renewable installation companies

Hometree, the Irish-founded home services and insurance company, intends to deploy tens of millions of pounds on acquisitions over the next two years after securing a massive debt facility from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock.

The announcement comes as the challenge residential energy services firm said it has concluded its first two M&A deals under the facility. It has acquired GeoWarmth Heat Pumps, and The Little Green Energy Company, two renewable installation companies that …
